I spent most of my childhood years in Cincinnati, Ohio. In 1997 I left the frigid cold and moved to sunny Sarasota, Florida. I currently live and work in Orlando. My passions include web design, photography, Video Games, cycling and golden retrievers.
My interests in web design and photography began in high school where I was able to explore the different fine arts. I took classes in pottery, drawing, computer graphics, and photography. After learning all about how to physically create art with my hands, my fascination moved to the computer and how best to share my work and love for art with others.
In 2001, I enrolled at the University of Central Florida in the college of Digital Media and began my studies as an Internet and Interactive Entertainment student. In college, I honed my skills in photography and developed a new love for web design. Upon interning as a web designer at an insurance company, I found that on the job training was essential to furthering my knowledge in my field of interest, and incomparable to what was being taught at the college. As such, I applied for a full-time job as a web designer to continue learning more about the web design profession. I have now been working as a web designer for over five years, helping companies redesign their corporate image, improve their market awareness through search engine optimization, and give their customers a more user-friendly online experience; all of which contribute to improving the bottom line.
